Food in USA consists mainly of imported or adapted recipes from other countries, while in México, we have plenty of traditional recipes that not only are delicious, but most of them are healthy too. Mexico and the Unites States both have imported foods from other countries. Mexican food is mostly a combination of other countries practices, just like the USA. An easy example is one of the more iconic foods in Mexico “Tacos al pastor”, which is a fusion of Mexican and European/Asian cuisine. Some other example in Mexico they have fresh ingredients. Frozen food is not really a thing in Mexico, even meat and poultry are elements you usually buy in small quantities and prepare “fresh”.

“American” food seems to be more bread based, while Mexican food revolves around tortillas and corn produce. Tacos, quesadillas, tamales, tostadas, atole, etc.…
